West of the Island

Going ahead one of the most wanted locations of the island Pico do Arieeiro, amazing views where you actually can climb above the clouds. The traditional thatched roof houses that usually are pictured in Madeira postcards can be visited in Santana and after that you may tour around Machico, the oldest village in Madeira where the discoverers first arrived in 1418.

Southwest Coast

Desertas Islands

Porto Santo Island

You can travel to Porto Santo Island on a ferry boat (2h30m duration trip) or by plane (15 minutes). With its 9 km golden thin sand it’s the ideal place for rest and how knows recovering because its sand it’s clinically proven to have therapeutic benefits.
